NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

On April 27, 2 021 Westview Investment, Inc., 21021 Spring Brook Plaza Dr., Suite 215, Spring, TX 77379, submitted application to the Southeast Texas Groundwater Conservation District (the “District”) for a drilling and operating permit. According to the Application:

1. The purpose of the proposed water wells is onsite potable water supply for a convenience store and nearby home. The proposed well is intended to produce at a maximum rate of 28 gallons per minute. The total annual permitted amount being requested is 1.53 acre feet per year.

2. The proposed well is to be located at 15724 FM 421, Kountze, TX 77625.

The District will hold a public hearing on the applications at 9:30 a.m. on June 10, 2021 at the Jasper County Courthouse Annex Building, 271 E. Lamar, Suite 200, Jasper, TX 75951. The public is invited to present comments and testimony on the Application. Any affected party who intends to contest the permit request must provide written notice of that intent to the District office at least five calendar days prior to the date of hearing as provided in the District Rules and the District’s Rules for Hearings.
