NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

On November 16, 2021 Mr. Daniel Ayres submitted an application to the Southeast Texas Groundwater Conservation District (the “District”) for permits to drill and operate one well. According to the Application:

1. The purpose of the proposed water well is for commercial distribution and sale of bulk groundwater. The proposed well is intended to produce at a maximum rate of 500 gallons per minute. The total annual amount being requested is 516.5 acre feet per year.

2. The well is to be located at 9319 FM 1414, Newton, TX 75966.

The District will hold a public hearing on the application at 9:30 a.m. on December 9, 2021 at the Jasper County Courthouse Annex Building, Emergency Operations Center (2^nd floor), at 271 East Lamar, Jasper, Texas 75951. The public is invited to present comment and testimony on the Application. Any affected party who intends to contest the permit request must provide written notice of that intent to the District office at least five calendar days prior to the date of hearing as provided in the District Rules and the District’s Rules for Hearings.
