NOTICE is given that the Board of Directors of the Southeast Texas Groundwater Conservation District will hold a monthly board meeting on Thursday January 12, 2023 starting at 10:00 a.m., at the Jasper County Courthouse Annex Building, Emergency Operations Center (2nd floor), at 271 East Lamar, Jasper, Texas 75951 in accordance with the Texas Open Meeting Act, Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code or (as amended).

 

Regular Board Meeting:

 

The items of business to be considered and transacted during the meeting are as follows:

2.†††††††† Public comment;

3.†††††††† Election of Officers;

4.†††††††† Discussion and possible action to approve the minutes of the November 10, 2022 Board meeting;

5.†††††††† Discussion and possible action regarding the monthly Treasurerís Report and approval of payables presented;

6.†††††††† Presentation of the Districtís 4th Quarter 2022 Investment Report;

7.†††††††† Discussion and possible action regarding Groundwater Availability Model GR21-019 (the most recent DFC MAG);

8.†††††††† Discussion and possible action regarding Chris Tyre/Clear Sky Investments District Rule Violations and the Sam Rayburn Shores water well;

9.†††††††† Discussion and possible action regarding an increase to the Districtís statutory maximum production fee as provided for in Special District Local Laws Code, Chapter 8868.153(c);

10.†††††† Discussion and possible action regarding submitted RFQs for consulting hydrologist;

11.†††††† Managerís Report to include: update on B.J. Jones/Dillin Payne, water well driller Glen Bonds, Annual Report, George Boulos plugged well, and drought conditions;

12.†††††† Establish date, time and place of next meeting; and;

13.†††††† Meeting adjourned.
