NOTICE is given that the Board of Directors of the Southeast Texas Groundwater Conservation District will hold a public hearing and monthly board meeting on Thursday June 11, 2026 starting at 9:30 a.m., at the offices of the Southeast Texas Groundwater Conservation District, located at 1017 FM 105, Evadale, Texas 77615, in accordance with the Texas Open Meeting Act, Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code or (as amended).

Public Hearing 9:30 a.m. – To receive comments regarding Proposed Desired Future Conditions (DFCs)

NOTICE is given that the Southeast Texas Groundwater Conservation District (“District”) will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday June 11, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., at the District’s offices located at 1017 FM 105, Evadale, Texas 77615.  The Public Hearing will be to hear comments regarding the Proposed Desired Future Conditions adopted by Groundwater Management Area 14 (“GMA 14”) on April 30, 2026.

Public Hearing

1.         Open public hearing;

2.         Receive public comments; and

3.         Close public hearing.

Regular Board Meeting (to begin immediately after the close of the public hearing):

The items of business to be considered, discussed, and acted on during the meeting are as follows:

1.        Call to order;

2.        Public comment;

3.        Discussion and possible action to approve the minutes of the May 14, 2026 Board meeting;

4.        Presentation of the District’s 2025 annual financial audit;

5.        Discussion and possible action on the monthly Treasurer’s Report and approval of payables presented;

6.        Discussion and possible action to ratify re-investment of CD recently matured at Education First Federal Credit Union;

7.        Discussion and possible action regarding the annual review of the District’s Fiscal Management and Investment Policy;

8.        Discussion and possible action regarding fees, including but not limited to export fees;

9.        Discussion and possible action to address comments received from the public hearing regarding the Proposed Desired Future Conditions;

10.      Discussion and possible action on District “Open House”;

11.      Manager’s Report, to include: information received at the recent TAGD meeting, update on TDLR enforcement actions; update on spring static water level readings, and drought conditions;

12       Establish date, time and place of next meeting; and;

13.      Meeting adjourned.
