Southeast Texas Groundwater Conservation District
NOTICE is given that the Board of Directors of the Southeast Texas Groundwater Conservation District will hold a monthly board meeting on Thursday October 8, 2026 starting at 10:00 a.m., at the offices of the Southeast Texas Groundwater Conservation District, located at 1017 FM 105, Evadale, TX 77615, in accordance with the Texas Open Meeting Act, Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code or (as amended).
Regular Board Meeting:
The items of business to be considered and transacted during the meeting are as follows:
Call to order;
Public comment;
Discussion and possible action to approve the minutes of the September 10, 2026 Board meeting;
Discussion and possible action regarding the monthly Treasurer’s Report and approval of payables presented;
Presentation of the District’s 3rd Quarter 2026 Investment Report;
At the discretion of the Board President, the Board may adjourn into closed session pursuant to Texas Open Meeting Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter
551.074 to discuss the annual performance review of the District’s general manager/personnel issues;
Discussion and possible action to adopt an amended 2026 budget, as presented or with any amendments made at the time of the meeting;
Discussion and possible action to adopt the District’s 2027 budget, as presented or with any amendments made at the time of the meeting;
Discussion and possible action regarding potential amendments to District Rules;
Manager’s Report to include: Update on GMA 14 and Region I WPG, assistant GM search, DFC Implementation Report, SFA announcement, drought conditions;
Establish date and time of next meeting; and,
Meeting adjourned.
